Dey Mansion is best known as the headquarters of General George Washington during the Revolutionary War. Today, visitors can tour its grounds and interior, where they will encounter beautifully restored Georgian architecture, period furniture, and other displays. The Mansion is located in Wayne, about 20 miles to the north and west of New York City. It also houses meetings of the Robert Erskine's Militia, a performance group dedicated to reenacting the military happenings that occurred in and around the mansion.
